Reliable UV Curing Systems
Spot UV curing systems are used for precision adhesive curing in industries such as medical device bonding, electronic assembly, and optoelectronics applications. Due to the accuracy requirements and critical nature of these devices, a repeatable process with reliable UV curing equipment is essential to product performance.
Spot Curing Machine Technology
OmniCure® spot UV curing systems provide global manufacturers with the most advanced, simple-to-use, and reliable UV curing equipment on the market. Depending on the needs of your UV bonding application, our curing machine technology is offered with either a high power mercury arc lamp source coupled to a UV transmitting light guide or an LED head. In either choice, the wavelength output from the curing machine can be filtered or selected to best suit the peak absorption of the photoinitiators in your UV curing process, speeding up the rate-of-cure while minimizing unwanted heat transfer to your substrate.
UV Curing Equipment Performance
OmniCure® UV curing systems deliver stronger, faster cures of UV adhesives resulting in improved product quality, rapid production and reduced manufacturing costs. Significant UV curing expertise and innovative system control goes into every curing machine to ensure peace-of-mind when selecting the most reliable spot curing equipment in the industry.
UV Radiometers for Critical Bonding Applications
UV radiometers are used to monitor and control UV curing systems in order to produce the desired cure result in a bonding process. UV radiometers can be used to correlate the exposure conditions in a process to the physical properties of the cured UV adhesive. In critical applications, exposure readings may also become part of a process specification when designing a production system using UV curing equipment.
UV radiometers for spot curing systems monitor performance (i.e. irradiance), measure potential light guide degradation, and help determine the optimum positioning of light guides in your process, with the added benefit from OmniCure® of ensuring precision calibration and consistent results from all your UV curing systems.
