Needle or Cannula Bonding & Assembly

OmniCure Needle or Cannula Bonding & Assembly Applications

A wide variety of medical devices incorporate needle or cannula bonding including syringes, hypodermic and angiographic needles, IV sets and lancets. The joint is very small and cylindrical, typically joining the stainless steel needle or cannula to a plastic hub assembly. The joints must be well sealed to prevent fluids such as blood or medicine leaking, while the position of cannula must remain fixed.
